Schellie Blochberger
Schellie has been involved with horses since the age of eight. She has owned and operated her horseback riding lesson and boarding business, B and B Farm, LLC, since the year 2000. A huge believer in education, she obtained her Certified Horsemanship Association riding instructor certification in 2006, American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horseman status in 2008 and American Paint Horse Association Professional Horseman status in 2012 and often attends educational seminars and learning horsemanship skills from other professionals. She is also a Level 3 carded judge through the Open Horse Show Association since 2017, and has many years of scribe experience including five years of experience with the Missouri Ranch Horse Association.
Schellie has coached clients and family to a world championship and many high point and reserve high point awards at state and local shows as well as attaining a couple of high point awards herself with the help of noted trainers and family. She has been a volunteer for many local saddle clubs, a 4-H Horsemanship leader and has coached FFA Horse Judging teams as well as earning two Honorary FFA Chapter Degrees. She has served on many equine organization boards and committees. She is currently serving on the CT2V board for Von Holten Ranch, a trail competition organization. Her lesson and boarding business focuses on helping youth and adults achieve their dreams and goals in horseback riding and horse ownership. Erin Rakow
Erin has been around horses her entire life, and has been riding and competing in horse shows since age 3. She has assisted Schellie at B and B Farm off and on for many years, and she officially joined as an instructor in the Fall of 2020. While she is working toward her Certified Horsemanship Association certification, she is assisting and leading lessons and instructing riders during camp.
Erin has been a member of the American Paint Horse Association, Missouri Paint Horse Club, and Mid MO Saddle Club. She is a horse show scribe with experience through Missouri Ranch Horse Association, Missouri Paint Horse Club, as well as open/local shows. As a youth, she served in various positions through the American Junior Paint Horse Association (AjPHA) and Missouri Junior Paint Horse Club including President (MjPHC) and National Director (AjPHA). She has also earned many high point and reserve high point awards at state and local shows, volunteered for local saddle clubs and 4-H programs, and she continues her education through conferences, reading, videos, etc. and taking lessons herself. The Farm
B and B Farm, LLC has been providing customized riding lessons for 22 years. We offer instruction in balanced riding for the beginner and intermediate, adult and youth rider. Emphasizing safety, continuing education and fun as well as horse and rider communication. We utilize methods of top clinicians and trainers and adhere to the Standards For Group Riding Programs through the Certified Horsemanship Association.

B and B Farm, LLC is a family run farm. If we can not serve you we will find a reputable source to meet your needs. Our facilities are clean and there is ample space to train and ride. We utilize a 60 x 90 foot outdoor arena with lights, access to a short trail and have a trail obstacle course and are located in a quiet rural area. Our stalls are 12 x 12. We produce our own hay and feed high quality pelleted rations and supplements. |
